Located in Historic Downtown Raymond, Willapa Paddle Adventures is a perfect destination to enjoy the beauty and fascinating history of the Willapa River.

We currently have a fleet of 13 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddle boards in our collection!

10 singles & 3 tandems (2 person kayaks with jump seats)

If you have a large group and you aren't sure we if have enough kayaks, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your group.

Guided tours available upon request! Our guides would love to take you out on the water and show you all of the local's favorite spots as well as provide you with helpful tips if you're new to paddling.

Guided tours are an additional $35/hr on top of the rental fee for the kayak/s. If using your own kayaks for a tour, the guide fee is $45/hr. (*prices subject to change*).

Worried about physically getting into the kayak? Don't worry! We have a great, specialized kayak dock that is super user friendly.

Please note that you will need to bring the boats down to the dock once checked in, especially for walk-in rentals. If you will need extra help, or won’t be able to help bring boats down/back up, let us know so we can be sure to have appropriate staffing to accommodate you!

Can we bring our Pets?

You sure can!

Just know that you go at your own risk of getting wet!

Please know that we do not have any PFD’s for your furry friend, so bring your own if you need one.

Can we transport the kayaks?

Well- we can, but you can’t.

Unfortunately, due to our insurance policy, we cannot allow customers to transport the boats themselves. If you’re wanting to launch anywhere other than the dock across the street from our location in Raymond though, we’d be more than happy to deliver them to you! Just make sure to let us know enough in advance to make sure we have availability for delivery.

We are in a beautiful area, so we understand if you want to explore a little further than Raymond! We just ask that you please give us at least 2 weeks notice to ensure availability for a delivery.

What if we want to go to Long Island?

Just give us a call or shoot us an email! We’ll work out all of the details with you.

Paddles to Long Island require a little planning ahead, as we have to work around the tide schedule and make sure we have availability for delivery.

Because of this, we ask that you please give us at least 2 weeks notice to get the details worked out to ensure your adventure goes off without a hitch!

Hey guys! My name is Baylee Countryman and I started Willapa Paddle Adventures in July of 2015 at seventeen years old, and now I'm a college graduate and work full time in the medical field! I started this business out of the love of paddling and the yearning to share the beauty of the Willapa River with our community and visitors. My family loves paddling because we have found the river to be full of life and adventure. It's such an amazing experience to be sitting in your kayak, following the gentle current of the river and see fish jump out of the water, eagles flying through the trees, and simply soaking it all in. We love paddling, and I wanted to make it possible for everyone to experience the Willapa River and it's beauty just as we do. I hope you make Willapa Paddle Adventures your next outdoor adventure destination!
